Our Board of Directors
Providence Community Health Centers, Inc. is governed by a 15-member-Board of Directors. All members are active in the community – some are business professionals, some are healthcare professionals, and more than half are active patients of PCHC. Our Board of Directors provides strong strategic leadership and high-level oversight to our organization. Our board members are committed to doing what is right and best for the patients and families we serve in the Providence community.
About our Board President and Chairperson:
Elena Nicolella, MPH, BA
Elena Nicolella has been a Board Member and a patient with PCHC since 2015. Elena is currently Executive Director of the New England States Consortium Systems Organization, and draws experience from her previous roles as Associate Director of the Office of Policy and Innovation; Associate Director of the Office of Medicaid Program for Rhode Island’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services; and her work with the Boston office of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Elena’s knowledge of both state and federal government is an asset to PCHC. Elena received her BA from New York University and her Master in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health.
